Everyone is welcome to attend these lectures - bring an open mind, a curious intellect and look forward to a stimulating and entertaining evening exploring some of the core principles of the Buddhist path. After the initial presentation, there will be a period of questions and answers, and then a chance to continue the discussions over refreshments after the formal part of the evening is complete.
A picture speaks a thousand words - in drawing the diagram of the wheel of life, Buddha captured the full range of insights he had revealed in his many years of teaching. During this lecture, Gen Kelsang Rabten will show how this intricate image is a map of all our sufferings and all the joys we are capable of, and how it illuminates the path that leads to a state beyond sorrow.
Gen Rabten embodies the modern Kadampa way of life and shares Buddha's teachings with warmth and joy.
