MusicSA is presenting the inaugural Good Music Month festival in November 2023!
Taking over from the retired Umbrella Festival, Good Music Month is a new annual, state-wide, open access live music festival held in November, aiming to elevate the profile of live music in South Australia by providing a platform for artists, venues, and industry professionals to showcase their talents to both local and interstate audiences.
The festival will encompass a diverse range of original live music experiences, ranging from intimate blues bands in local pubs to grand-scale ticketed music festivals, opera, and orchestral concerts.
To generate an unprecedented collective of live music performances in South Australia, MusicSA will collaborate with pre-existing major festivals, events, and industry initiatives scheduled for November, to deliver a wealth of live music experience like never before seen in South Australia.
Geographically, Good Music Month will encompass the greater Adelaide metropolitan area while emphasising the development of a strong network of regional venues. These venues will welcome artists and events across regional centres, offering opportunities for audience and industry development throughout the regions
