This exhibition celebrates our urban birdlife.With more than 80% of Australia's population living in cities- it might not feel like there's much room for nature. But a stroll through any Australian city proves there's no need to go bush to get in touch with wildlife.  However- with rapid urbanisation- they face a great challenge.  Many Australian bird species are declining in urban areas and declining overall.Its more important than ever to research- protect and provide education on the urban birds that surround us. Now more than ever- on behalf of the living world- we need to feel like we belong here- on the planet. That this is our home- but it is not ours alone.This exhibition is curated especially for BirdLife Australia Bird Week featuring works by printmaker Fiona Roderick- designers Eggpicnic and photographer Angela Robertson-Buchanan.This is a Covid safe exhibition. To comply there will be a limit of 8 in the gallery at one time. We will be on-hand to ensure social distancing within the gallery. There will be hand sanitiser available at the entrance.

Join us at 'Chiswick In Bloom' this spring - two months of activity that sees our restaurant and garden come to life to celebrate spring- and the launch of a dedicated Chiswick bar area with its own special menu. Showcasing our home-grown seasonal produce- revel in the flavours of our spring menus across both our a la carte menu as well as a special menu available exclusively through the communal bar. In the restaurant- feast on classics such as Chiswick's slow roasted lamb shoulder- and new menu highlights including globe artichokes with asparagus- garden herbs and pecorino- alongside a half roast chicken with sunrise potato and snow peas.For those who are after a lighter night out- we have also introduced a spring snack menu in the bar. In partnership with Bombay Sapphire- we have created a cocktail and snack In Bloom menu. Highlights include the Bombay Sapphire Garden G&T paired with Chiswick crudites and white bean hummus- the Tangerine Spritz paired with Berkshire pork terrine- mustard and preserved vegetables- the Spring Collins paired with nasturtium leaves- house made ricotta and sunflower- and the Bombay Bramble Spritz paired with prawn popcorn- jalapeno and iceberg lettuce. These pairings will be available exclusively through the Chiswick communal bar from Wednesday 2nd - Saturday 31st October.Plus- you're invited to a range of masterclasses in collaboration with Bombay Sapphire. During each masterclass- guests will enjoy a cocktail from our 'In Bloom' menu- alongside a selection of Chiswick snacks and take home gifts. The international platform for the support- exhibition and production of audiovisual dance Fiver promotes choreographic-audiovisual creation by promoting the professionalization of the film dance genre with the organization- since 2012- of an internationally renowned annual festival: FIVER.After the success of FIVER 2019- which celebrated its seventh edition with actions in Logrono and Madrid- its two main venues- this 2020 and for the second consecutive year- the Fiver-Cervantes program is being carried out within the festival- with a Selection of works by Spanish and Latin American creators and curated by Samuel Retortillo- wants to offer a current vision of audiovisual dance through works that have been produced by Fiver or that have been finalists in its international competition.The works of prestigious Spanish film directors of three generations are a perfect selection to show how cinedance has become a language of specific movement- where the creator brings dance to life through the screen. There are five works that can be enjoyed at Fiver-Cervantes 2020: the winner of the special FIVER 2019 award- I Love the Maids for Unreal- by Sofia Castro (Argentina)- the finalist- Babelian Circles- by Ferrand Romeu- and the collaborative works Fiverlabs 2019- Body to Body 2.0- coordinated by Esteban Crucci and Jordi Cortes- Wine or Grape ?- coordinated by Álex Pachon- and Bailaora- by Rubin Stein.This program is expanded with «Confined Bodies»- a series of videos that have been made during confinement- in order to analyze and give value to the creative proposals carried out during this period- by authors of the stature of Elias Aguirre- Richar Mascherin- Asun Noales- Alex Pachon- Jesus Rubio- Antonio Ruz- Guido Sarli and Pablo Venero.This comprehensive program will be presented within the framework of the Baila Espana festival in Bremen- which- in addition to its face-to-face celebration- will have a digital version this year- in which a wide variety of online activities will be offered- which will be accessible to all users of the Instituto Cervantes network of centers.

FootGolf is a new sport.The objective is to introduce a football (soccer ball) into a series of holes in the least possible number of kicks.The sport is played in a golf course and is super fun.Entertaining activity for families and groups of friends. FootGolf is great for birthday parties and corporate events.
