If you are looking for something to do outside of Brisbane try the Plain land Country Markets. Located between Brisbane and Toowoomba; you'll find a selection of homegrown vegetables, plants, baked goods, knick-knacks and even some little ducklings that will make a great addition to your family.
As well as the fresh Lockyer Valley produce and hand-made items, you'll find plenty of other things to keep adults and kids entertained including a coffee truck, face-painting and sometimes an inflatable slide. You can get your car and your dog washed by hand at the markets. You'll also find collectables, arts and crafts, books and lots of other goodies.
The markets are held on the third Sunday of each month from 7am until 12 noon (except January).
