Showcasing a kaleidoscopic selection of films from Korea's booming film industryThe Korean Film Festival in Australia (KOFFIA) returns for its 11th year presenting a dynamic and FREE virtual program of cinematic gems to audiences across Australia.Showcasing a kaleidoscopic selection of films direct from Korea's booming film industry - Hallyuwood- the program will feature the very best in contemporary Korean cinema.Presented by the Korean Cultural Centre Australia- the 2020 Festival will screen 18 feature films to audiences across Australia. From the compelling true story behind a Korean President's assassination to an award-winning drama based off a ground-breaking feminist bestseller- the Festival showcases an eclectic program from Korea's pre-eminent filmmakers.KOFFIA is a cinematic experience for people of all tastes- ages and cultural backgrounds. Every film presented at the Festival screens with English subtitles. Films will be available at a scheduled time and streaming is available up to 30 minutes after the scheduled time.

LGTBI+ in Spanish- Online Short Films 2020
Short fiction and documentary film programme that covers the different expressions and representations of the LGBTI+ community with a clear commitment to give an image of the creativity around these identities. The programme presents excellent cinematographic works from Spain- Colombia- as well as a Mexican-American co-production. You'll also get to cast your vote for People's Choice Award live.Filmmaking workshop: Saturday 31 OctoberSo you've shot some video footage using your phone and now you need to edit it together. Perhaps you're not sure how to go about it the right way- or you aren't sure about which editing software to use?Whether you are putting together your first short film or uploading a vlog to Youtube- this online editing workshop will provide beginner video editors with the basics for taking videos to the next level.In this hands-on workshop- with experienced film editor- Jordan Swioklo you will learn the basics of editing in Adobe Premiere Pro. You can get creative by using different transitions- adding simple effects- titles and soundtracks. You will also learn key information about how to import and set up your project correctly- file types- file size and how to export your final cut.No prior knowledge of editing is needed but basic computer skills will be assumed. Participants are encouraged to come ready with their own footage and any music tracks they wish to use. Royalty-free film footage and soundtracks will also be available for use- if requested prior to the workshop. Participants are also required to have Adobe Premiere Pro installed and working on their computer prior to the workshop. If you do not already own the software- please download a free trial.All events are free however bookings are essential.
