Delight in Flamenco art- poetry dance and music with some of Sydney's finest artists!Annalouise Paul presents 'Flamenco for Everybody'. After the show- we'll have a Q and A with the audience about Flamenco culture- the social- historical and cultural elements. In dialogue with Annalouise and the musicians and singers- Rafael- Robbie and Byron- you learn about the influence of Romani- Jewish- Arab and Afro-Cuban cultures that make up Flamenco's songs- rhythms and dances.Ticket sales pay the professional artists and technical staff who have been struck without work due to Covid-19. A fun and fabulous way to learn this beautiful art form!For beginners who have a minimum of 2+ years Flamenco.This class allows us to focus on drills and choreography at faster pace than the introductory level. We work on alignment and safe dance practice- musicality and rhythm based techniques and a contemporary approach and understanding of flamenco art.About Annalouise PaulAnnalouise Paul is a trained dance teacher and award-winning choreographer-dancer with broad experience working for Michael Jackson and LA Opera to NSW Dept of Education and Sydney Eisteddfods.What to wear: Loose clothing- shoes or boots with a heel.All Covid safety rules appl.
