Steeped in tradition and stature, Australia's iconic 308 nautical mile Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race (affectionately known as the B2G) is one of the oldest and most fiercely fought blue water yacht races in the southern hemisphere.
This momentous race and prized Queensland event asset embraces the Sunshine State's vibrant, outdoor lifestyle as an "on-water" sporting event that presents an opportunity for spectators to experience world-class offshore ocean racing at a peak tourism time - Easter.
Many of the best sailing yachts and crews will enter from across Queensland, New South Wales. Victoria and Tasmania as well as entrants from overseas. They compete for the highly coveted The Courier-Mail Cup, one of the oldest perpetual sailing trophies in Australia.
