A Couple of Couples, is an improvised one act comedic play*. Featuring some of Australia's most experienced improvisors and comedians; Sharnema Nougar, David Tieck, Caitlin Yolland, Daniel Madden and special guests (Ooo!). A Couple of Couples are a couple of real couples, so this show is great for members of couples who want to be able to point to their partners and say "look, they do stupid things together". And also for bitter singles, hoping the stress of putting on a completely improvised Festival show, rips us apart!
You may have seen this bunch of comics previously at Melbourne International Comedy Festival in Completely Improvised Potter, Two Little Dickheads, Fringe Wives Club, The Improvised Superhero Movie, Hollywouldn't, What Would Bill Murray Do, The Lost Cabaret, Upfront and more!
Unscripted, unhooved, uninhibited and completely unnormal. Come for a silly, joyful, bloomin' good time!
*For improv nerds, this format is called Pretty Flower and is making its Australian Debut, possibly, maybe, we're not sure, why not argue about it with your partner.
