A Splash of Ash brings together the Strathnairn Arts Wood Fire Group (SAWFG) — a community of full-time artists, part-time potters, and ceramicists who share a passion for the elemental process of woodfiring. Each piece in the exhibition has been shaped by flame, ash, and time in the Strathnairn groundhog kiln, revealing the unique textures, tones, and surfaces that only fire can create.
Showcasing both functional and sculptural works, this exhibition celebrates the diversity, collaboration, and craftsmanship at the heart of Strathnairn's woodfiring community.
Featuring the work of: Michael Adams, Susan Curran, Isabel Chen, Catherine Drinan, Laura Eason, Craig Edwards, Trish Erfurt, Trevor Heldt, Sui Jackson, Lessy Jacobs, Ben Kendon, Jude Keogh, Isaac Kozlovskis, Trenna Langdon, Peter Dallas, Anna Rapp, Therese Rasanen, Simon Terry, Mads Wainwright, Inge Zeilinger and David Leake.
