Join us on a journey to unleash your inner creativity! Based in the Iconic Red Rattler Theatre in Marrickville, come explore your creativity, learn or hone a new craft, and create some Dope A.S.S. Art!!! (A.S.S.=Abstract Sketch and Sip).

Abstract has been created to help ignite your passion in art, and to inspire you to see the world more vividly, fluidly and openly. We want to help you find the beauty and opportunity in the everyday.

Hosted by an international multimedia artist to help guide you through an evening of pure creativity and self-discovery. Joined with designer cocktails crafted by our resident Monday mixologist who comes along every week just to give you the ooo ah ah sensation whilst you make your works of art.

Everyone is welcome no matter your art experience, in fact we encourage you to come and experiment with new artforms or reunite with mediums that fallen out of touch. Started by a group of queer humans we aim to make a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community and beyond.

The Abstract Sketch and Sip family welcomes you to create, let go and relax, and help you in who you create yourself to be.
