Africultures Festival is Australia's largest African festival with over 70 stalls showcasing the many vibrant cultures of the African continent.
Delicious cuisine from across Africa, fashion prints and catwalks, sports clinics and A-list performers is what you can expect for the Africultures festival this year.
MC for this year's festival and Hip Hop artist Kween G said the festival is an important cultural event which celebrates the diversity of African culture, food, and talent across the community.
The festival will feature its famous African Market Place, the Nile Food Court, Watotos (Kids) Corner, an exclusive Ethiopian Coffee workshop, Basketball Clinics and the Kanu Sports Zone with GWS Giants and Western Sydney Wanderers, as well as a catwalk on the Fashion Parade, previously featured in Vogue.
The event is run by a passionate group of volunteers and all ticket proceeds will be going toward reinvigorating the festival annually.
The event will cost $5 (+ booking fee) and all proceedings will go towards the continuation of the festival. Africultures is a volunteer-run festival which is enabled through sponsorship, fees and grant funding.
