Ailey Extension, an offshoot of famed dance company Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, makes dance accessible to people of all backgrounds with instruction in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, samba, Zumba and many other dance/fitness styles. In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Ailey Extension presents programming throughout the City, including weekly June vogue classes, a Juneteenth Line Dance Workshop on June 14, a Masterclass Series on June 28 and more throughout the year. People of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to partake.
