This showcased event has concluded.
This is a celebration of the depth of beauty in Indigenous culture through art. Through vivacious colours, deeply intrenched storytelling and unique mediums, this exhibition is an ode to the effervescence of female Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands artists.
For the month of August, the multi-award-winning, female-owned, and led brewpub, Sparkke at the Whitmore, are housing the Minyma Mayatia (Boss Ladies) exhibition for SALA for the second year running.
The exhibition, which will be in the brewpub's Queens Room, recognises and highlights the outstanding work of Indigenous female Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands artists.
The event is held in partnership with the APY Gallery, an Aboriginal-owned and run, not-for-profit, social enterprise that has a focus on meaningful employment and independent income for Anangu, Aboriginal people from the remote region of the APY Lands.
