A new after-hours workshop is in town! Art Est Art Nights, run by Sydney's leading independent art school, Art Est, will be starting on Friday 11 June at 6:30pm.

Have a drink, meet like-minded people, and create some art as they keep their studio doors open at night for intimate and casual art workshops.

The theme will be Watercolour Crystals, where you will explore simple watercolour mixing and blending techniques to achieve delicate shades, in the form of a crystal.

Art Est Art Nights are small groups capped at 15 people, to allow each person's own creativity and imagination to shape their final artwork and they also welcome 'BYO drinks and snacks' for a creative and cheerful after-work do.

For $65pp, the workshop includes all art materials, and guidance from award-winning watercolour and illustration artist, Monika Diak. Her work has appeared in children's books, on the covers of Sci-Fi Young Adult novels, and in exhibitions across Australia, Japan, Europe and the UK.

Art Est Art School is located in a spacious, light-filled heritage warehouse in Leichhardt, with four dedicated teaching studios, an art gallery and a large ceramics studio. For over 13 years, Art Est has gained a reputation for employing local creatives and encouraging individuals to embrace their creativity in a nurturing environment.
