Art therapy is more than just making art; it's a journey of self-discovery, healing and connection, embracing the power of creativity for improved mental wellbeing.

Art therapy is a potent antidote to anxiety, offering a respite from the incessant worries that plague our minds. Engaging in creative expression lowers cortisol levels while boosting dopamine and endorphins, fostering a sense of calm.

The City of Sydney in partnership with The Equanimity Project has created three powerful workshops to begin or continue your journey of self-discovery.

  • Tuesday 26 March: Art Therapy Postcards

  • Tuesday 2 April: Positive Words to Live By

  • Tuesday 9 April: The Self-Care Box
