Victor Harbour Regional Gallery presents its lifetime member and artist of the month - Margaret McEntee.
Throughout many years of painting and drawing using charcoal, ink, watercolour and oils, Margaret realised that she had the desire to explore the medium of pastels.
Unexpectedly, a box of hard pastels was gifted to Margaret, and after becoming familiar with the colours and textures of the paper, her love of pastels was born.
Collecting different blends of soft and harder pastels, Margaret created works that included landscapes, seascapes, still lifes, street scenes, and portraits.
Come and visit Victor Harbour Regional Gallery to enjoy Margaret's work in the main entry.
The Gallery is run by a cooperative of local artists located in the old historic bakery building opposite the Victor Harbour Steam Train Railway station. The old baking oven is on display at the back of the gallery.
