Assertiveness communication can strengthen your relationships, including your relationship with yourself, reducing stress from conflict, and providing you with the ability to cope and handle difficult conversations and situations.
Each class, Bishop Laryea, from the African Youth Initiative Centres, leads this class which you can attend as a once-off or attend regularly every week. All participants engage in role-playing exercises to learn the 6 assertive communication tools in the program. The role play exercises revolve around real life situations. This will help you greatly in putting assertiveness into actual practice.
Class suitable for all levels and ages. We especially encourage youth and also parents to attend.
All money raised from tickets will be 100% directly donated to the African Youth Initiative Centres charity which helps young people from African backgrounds both in Sydney and in Africa.
