With an otherworldly cool, she combines electro-pop with Nordic folk, and pure soaring vocals, creating music that covers themes ranging from global capitalism and the environmental crisis to love, shame, desire and morality. Growing up surrounded by forests and mountains near Bergen in Norway, Aurora Aksnes began creating music at the age of six and this year reached the UK Top 10 chart with her album The Gods We Can Touch.
