The Australia Independent Film Festival (AIFF) will return this September and will run over two days at Metro Arts West End. It's a celebration of independent cinema where Brisbane locals can join filmmakers and film lovers for one of Queensland's biggest annual celebrations of film.

AIFF gives people the chance to watch amazing films that generally do not screen anywhere but a film festival, mingle with like-minded individuals, and enjoy networking opportunities. Known Internationally, AIFF showcases the very best Australian and international short films, documentaries, animations, experimental films, and more from Brisbane, Australia, and from across the globe.

"Independent film festivals have been a steppingstone for some of history's greatest storytellers. It gives me great pride to support the Australia Independent Film Festival and to encourage filmmakers and film lovers to support the festival, as well." Scott Rosenfelt acclaimed Hollywood film producer and 2022 AIFF festival patron.
