We have reached our 27th year of The Australian Salmon Fishing Championship which is held for 3 months annually on the West Coast of the Eyre Peninsula during the winter months from 1st of June to 31st of August 2020.
Salmon may be caught from the shore between Mount Camel Beach and Sheringa Beach with a hook and line. Entrants must purchase their tickets before catching salmon.
The salmon gutted and washed (not gilled or scaled) must be presented on the day of capture to be weighed at the Elliston Caravan Park.
This event will be going ahead for 2020 (updated 18/05/2020).
