A Midsummer Night's Dream, one of the more famous in Shakespeare's canon is a dazzling romantic comedy, celebrating young love, reveling in courtship and the marriage of true minds. This glorious adventure is perfectly poised for a warm summer's night in WA's most beautiful landscapes.
A bawdy band of hopeful hams in a caravan collide with four wayward inner-city lovers, and a tribe of woodland fairies. Through fate, through forest, through stars, these three tribes accidentally go to war...
But little do they know that the melding forest has a dream in store for them.
We would like to invite you to get excited, to tell your friends and to ready your picnic hampers for what is truly an ambitious and wonderful new summer highlight for all of WA.
Midsummers will be performing at Saw Avenue Amphitheatre, Kings Park from 19th-29th January 2022.
