Join us for this special fundraising event and take the challenge of walking Melbourne's iconic 3.8km Tan Track along the Yarra's edge and around the city's picturesque Royal Melbourne Botanical and Domain Gardens. Event subject to continued easing of restrictions.
If you live within 25km of The Tan, invite the whole family and come along to support a great cause. By participating in Bill's Walk, you will help raise funds for The Alfred Hospital's Neurosurgery Department and contribute to research to find a cure for brain cancer - a lasting legacy Bill would be proud of.
Bill Tingate is remembered for his brave battle with brain cancer. He loved walking, and taking on many challenges like Everest Base Camp and Mt. Kilimanjaro. Like so many city workers, The Tan was a favourite of his to walk or run during lunch breaks, when he worked nearby in South Melbourne.
Please share this event with friends and family.
