Book of the month: Almond by Won-Pyung Sohn

Almond is about a boy named Yunjae who has born with a brain condition called Alexithymia that masks it hard for him to fell emotions such as fear and anger. He does not have friends, the two almond-shaped neurons located deep in this brain have seen to that but his devoted mother and grandmother provide him with a safe and content life. Then on Christmas Eve, everything changes.

  • Raffle will be drawn at 7pm on the evening of the book club to select 10 people to win a copy of the book of the month
