Wanting to create something iconic for the summer, Brown Brothers approached Gelato Messina to create a limited edition Prosecco Rosé inspired gelato - because what could be more synonymous with summer than sipping on Prosecco Rosé and cooling down with a scoop of gelato?
Booming in popularity, Prosecco Rosé has fast become the drink of the summer and it's not hard to see why. With hints of watermelon and strawberry, the pink sparkling wine is vibrant and refreshing, the perfect bubbles for a summer's day.
On partnering with Gelato Messina, Emma Brown, fourth generation Brown family member says that the partnership is exciting as it allows more people to experience the delicious flavours of Prosecco Rosé but in a gelato!
'We wanted to partner with a like-minded tastemaker who crafts products to excite consumers as we do,' Emma says.
'Prosecco Rosé is the perfect summer wine, so it was a very easy decision to partner with Gelato Messina on a summer gelato collaboration.'
On developing the flavour with Brown Brothers, Gelato Messina chef Donato Toce says that the taste profile of Prosecco Rosé lends itself beautifully to gelato and the team took inspiration from refreshing summer Prosecco cocktails, like the Bellini.
