Carlotta returns to Foundry 616 with her new album recorded in Rome with her Italian band in November 2021.
The album is called 'Speak Love - Parla D'Amore' and it is a collection of her favourite jazz and Bossanova standards which illustrates her love and passion for Jazz and Latin music.
Carlotta is an Italian singer, songwriter, and recording artist from Rome, now living in Sydney, Australia. She is the granddaughter of Armandino Zingone who played with the legendary Renato Carosone in La Dolce Vita - the golden age of Italian music.
Her music builds on her heritage and is influenced by jazz, soul, and Bossanova. Her elegant and sophisticated voice has been compared with that of iconic Italian Superstar, Mina who was Carlotta's mentor in Italy.
She has performed live all over the world singing in her native Roman and Neapolitan Italian dialects, as well as English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Her captivating and charismatic stage presence engages her audience on an intimate level; so much so you feel as if she is singing just for you. Her range glides from Italian classic songs to the elegance of jazz and the romance of Bossanova.
Carlotta has written, produced, and recorded two other studio albums. Her debut album 'Respiro' was released in 2010 and 'Rome to the Land of Australia' in 2017 available on Apple Music and Spotify.
'Carlotta sings with her heart, captivating her audience and catapulting them into her sophisticated world' - Renzo Arbore ( Italian Showman)
'Carlotta has one of the most beautiful and sensual voices in Australia' - Pino Scuro (East side radio)
