Come and spend an afternoon with us making pretty ceramic dishes! This ceramics workshop in Canberra will be taught by ceramic artist and educator Josephine Townsend - so you are in for a treat!
This beginner-friendly workshop will teach you how to make small plates of clay slabs and decorate them with coloured slips (liquid clays). You will learn about how to manage the clay as well as several different techniques for decorating your dishes.
At the end of the workshop when you have completed your ceramics, Jo will take your finished pieces home to fire and glaze them and return them to POP Canberra for collection. Allow a minimum of two to three weeks for drying and firing. POP Canberra will be in touch with you when your pieces are ready, so please supply your best contact details when booking.
