The theatre games you love and laugh with.
Canberra's traditional and famous improv comedy tournament. Star improvisers from around the world and throughout the nation perform classic and brand new improv comedy games and short scenes alongside the newest local and interstate improvisers. You decide on your favourite scenes and the best contributing performer will triumph and progress through to Sunday night's Canberra Impro Challenge Grand Finale (traditionally an annual sell-out, and the last show of the festival).
Expert directors from across the globe assign each game and scene, so even if you've been to improv game shows before, this is where you'll see brand new game formats never played in Australia, and brand new faces getting their chance to perform scenes with the improv gurus they've heard about but never thought they'd meet.
The Heats are all held in the intimate Street 2 venue, so be quick if you'd like a seat at this early evening and quite casual series of shows that those in-the-know fill rapidly and regularly.
A part of the Canberra International Improv Festival.
