To really construct a history of a building, you need to start from the ground up. Consider the site, locality, architecture and people. City of Sydney historians Lisa Murray and Laila Ellmoos will introduce the key sources for research. Archivist Naomi Crago will answer your research questions.
The workshop will kick off with a presentation outlining the research tools offered by the City of Sydney archives. The City of Sydney's online House & Building Histories Guide will provide the framework, focusing on resources available in Archives and History Resources. The session will be followed with a Q&A panel.
