As an artist, I am constantly drawn to the beauty and elegance of everyday objects. In this series of still life paintings, I have focused on the exquisite combination of flowers displayed in Art Deco vases.
My aim with these paintings is to capture the essence of both the natural and man-made worlds, and the harmonious relationship that can exist between them. I have carefully selected each vase to complement the unique qualities of the flowers it holds, and to highlight their individual beauty.
Through my use of bold colours, strong lines, and a sense of geometric precision, I have created a series of images that evoke the glamour and sophistication of the Art Deco era. At the same time, I have aimed to bring a sense of life and vitality to these static objects, imbuing them with a sense of movement and energy.
Ultimately, my hope is that viewers will be transported by these paintings to a world of beauty, wonder, and elegance, and that they will be reminded of the power and joy that can be found in the simplest of things.
