Join Willoughby City Council's curator Cassandra Hard Lawrie in conversation with North Shore artists Seong Cho and Robyn Kennedy.
These 2 artists will discuss how their ideas, processes and inspiration around design and craft values fuse to make desirable and thought provoking objects of art.
Seong Cho is a printmaker whose wood block processes combine influences of both Eastern and Western cultural practices. Her current subject matter reflects on the natural world and humanity's complex relationship with it. Delving into recent natural events, Seong talks about the impacts on 'self' from both an ethical and well-being standpoint.
Robyn Kennedy focuses on employing collage techniques within the textile and photomontage disciplines. She will discuss her passion for surface decoration and embellishment and the important role sustainability takes within her practice.
