De-Construction/Re-Construction, an art exhibition by Creativity Cluster, has launched online. The theme was inspired by the many construction works being undertaken in the city for the new metro train loop.
The Creativity Cluster artists are Lindsay Hussey (textile collage), Pat Duncan (water colour, alcohol ink on glass shards), Nancy D Lane (found object assemblage), Penny Sharples (acrylic), Marina Chamberlain (collage), Deidre Ogilvie (oil), Luna Cameron-Parrish (mosaics), Mardie Whitla (ceramics) and Carolyn Morwood (photography). All reside in the greater Melbourne area. This is their fourth exhibition together.
The website and exhibition were funded through a City of Melbourne Covid-19 Arts Grant. The ‘real-life’ exhibition, planned for May, will now be held from 19 Oct - 28 Nov 2020 in the Dirty Dozen display cases in Campbell Arcade.
