South Yarra's Oriental Teahouse is relaunching its popular feasting menu and dating game, Dumplings for Dating, as a takeaway experience for lovers in lockdown from Wednesday 22 July.
Dumplings for Dating at Home comes delivered with a three-stage board game of truth or dare style questions, a three-course feasting menu including cocktails and wine, and a surprise dessert to signify the game's final dare stage
Designed to be shared, the feasting menu is $140 for two people and includes the following menu items:
Two cocktails of choice
Two wines of choice (by the glass)
Prawn dumplings
Prawn and chives dumplings
Chicken dumplings
Pan fried pork and chive dumplings
Chilli wagyu dumplings
Sweet shredded steak
Chinese broccoli in oyster sauce
Steamed rice
A surprise dessert
The offering is also available as a plant-based feasting menu option upon request.
Dumplings for Dating at Home is available for pick-up at the Chapel Street store only and pre-orders can be made through the restaurant on 9826 0168. You can also opt for free home delivery if you are a restaurant local. This will apply to postcodes across 3121, 3141, 3142, 3143, 3144, 3181, 3182 and 3183. Otherwise, Southsiders can also order the feasting experience via Deliveroo.
