Stephen Mills is an artist who is driven by passion, seized by obsession, delighted by creation, enthralled by expression, entranced by vision, delighted by day dreams, filled with emotion, fuelled by compulsion, consumed by beauty and blinded by inspiration. Welcome to his mind. Witness Stephen's current mixed media works in his new exhibition on display for four weeks in Redcliffe, Queensland.
Stephen's motivation is atmospheric and tangible. He thrives on playing with colour and texture. He loves discovering new and interesting techniques. What viewers will witness in the upcoming Elements exhibition will be very expressive skyscapes, where the sky takes you on a journey, as well as some new abstract works that are very textured. There will also be a selection of hand painted glass vases and bowls. The inspiration for these came following some recent neurosurgery.
The Official Opening is on Saturday 15 May at 2pm. It is open for all to attend and there will be Light Refreshments available.
Stephen is holding a workshop called Painting Sky with Attitude on Sunday 16 May at Redcliffe. Bookings can be made through The Old Fire Station Gallery Shop.
