The Society of Arts and Crafts NSW has a long history, dating back to 1906. Through comradeship and mutual respect of fellow members' unique skills the society has built a diverse cross-section of creative crafts within its community.
Don't miss Craft NSW's next exhibition, Exploring the Surface, which showcases a collective of artisan exhibits on a common theme.
Looking over, below and emergence from apparent exteriority - unified by an explorative group expression of 'the surface', this exhibit features ceramics, wearable textiles, fibre art and jewellery crafts. Visitors can observe the whimsical, functional, decorative and introspective interpretations.
