Serenade presents a watch party and pop-up games exhibition for the opening day of Freeplay, the world's longest-running independent games festival. Freeplay celebrates grassroots developers and promotes art games from Australia and abroad.

The event will be held at Mothership Studios, with talks streamed all day in Mothership's Pink Flamingo Cinema and a big evening party.

Featuring, alphabetically:

  • Amberial Dreams - Cuauhtemoc Moreno (NSW, AUS)

  • KIDS - Michael Frei & Mario von Rickenbach (Switzerland)

  • Sticky Cats - Jem Smith & Jason Sutherland (South Africa)

  • Umurangi Generation - Naphtali Faulkner (NSW, AUS)

  • You Used to be Someone - Squinky

Talks will be streamed all day from 10am while the main event is from 5:30pm.

Mothership Studios is fully accessible.

This event is taking place on the lands of the Gadigal and Wangal people of the Eora nation. Sovereignty was never ceded - always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
