Gallery 1 | Radiant by Maria Constantinescu
'Inspired by the astronomy term 'apparent radiant' (which describes the terrestrial visual perception of a meteor shower seeming to emerge from a singular point in the sky), and the electromagnetic radiation emitted by celestial bodies and objects, RADIANT explores modalities of understanding cosmic images, as well as processes of interpreting data collected from outer space. From the analysis of electromagnetic visible spectrum (light) in observational astronomy, to the use of RGB filters in astrophotography imaging, and creating precise visible representations with modern technologies like spectroscopy, RADIANT presents alternative modes of experiencing information collected from cosmos.'
Gallery 2 | Smalltown Boy by Liz Bradshaw
'The imagery is shot through with popular and sub cultural meanings, reading social and architectural function and narrative against the grain.
These references include convict and queer histories that invert dominant ideas of ownership and culture. The work explores the ways these histories and urban praxes produce marginalisation, and resist, silence or accommodate the voices of others.'

Gallery 3 | Good Grief: Contemporary Mourning by Rebecca Kilpatrick
'Good Grief: Contemporary Mourning is the first solo showing of works by the artist Rebecca Kilpatrick, as she seeks to explore and engage with the dialogue on mortality associated with the Covid - 19 pandemic as well as navigating the psycho emotional obstacles for the individual participating in collective solidarity of performing rituals of memorials, in a climate of absent 'normality'.
Re-imagining the genteel subject matter of the botanical arrangement painting still life, this exhibition draws on the concept of the memento mori paintings by composing still lifes in poison bottles, serene funeral arrangements in poisonous hues, and manipulating the structure of flowers to resemble something from colourised Gray's Anatomy diagrams.'
Gallery 4 | From the Corners by Cailyn Forrest
'Within this cool and dark space, time as we perceive it is slowed and this experience provides a freedom and elusiveness to art making. From the Corners is a poetic exploration of the ephemeral memories, thoughts and dreams contained within the most intimate spaces of our domestic lives, capturing them as distilled fragments. The spaces that contain these memories are brought to life and materialised through analogue photographic practices. _From the Corners _offers a metaphysical experience of the darkroom and the home as a world within a world. It aims to challenge the didactic expectations of photography, to subvert its accuracy and explore a poetic and metaphysical approach to image making, rather than the calculative and perfected.'
