Friends since they met at school in Darlinghurst, and born a week apart, Denis Mizzi and George Alexander have stayed in contact through the decades.
Here they share a space at The Shop Gallery Glebe.
For both, art is a branch of life; and art is a branch of entropy and death: for we began in darkness and even in the light we carry this darkness.
Alexander travels inwards to this lyrical darkness, while Mizzi takes apart the socio-political darkness that threatens us all.
