Pianist Glenn Doig will make his Monday Night Confessions debut, bringing collaborators Brett Hirst on bass and Simon Barker on drums to revisit material from his debut album Trio, released on Earshift Music in 2024, as well as featuring some brand new tunes.
'These pieces play out like synergetic conversations, simple and unadorned, representing a rewarding contribution to the art of the piano trio.' Rhythms Magazine

Dianne Cripps
Renowned singer-songwriter Dianne Cripps is set to captivate audiences with her highly acclaimed album I Told the Ocean Your Name. Working with acclaimed arranger and song-writing partner Matt Thompson (2020 ASCAP Herb Albert Young Jazz Composers Award & 2021 Wangaratta National Jazz Award winner), and Emmy award-winning producer Sean Carey, I Told the Ocean Your Name explores concepts of family, meaning, and different forms of love - fledgling, forgotten and forbidden. These original compositions and lush arrangements pay homage to her Southern roots as well as to the Australian landscape.
'Formidable. Impressive…gorgeously attractive harmonies…real jazz sensibility. 4/5 Stars' - Eric Myers, The Australian
