🎥 Going Green Short Films presented by Environmental Film Festival Australia (EFFA) | 8-9 July
Step into the magical world of nature and wildlife and discover the joy of the natural world through this selection of six curated short films. The films explore environmental topics ranging from the secret lives of creatures invisible to the naked eye to stories from the oceans.
🦉 The Owl's Apprentice | Going Green 2020 presented by Little Wing Puppets | 3 and 10 Ju
Poot Poot is a young owl sent to study at owl school. On his journey he meets an Echidna, a Wombat, a Kookaburra, a Lyrebird, a Kangaroo and a Platypus who each share with him their own special kind of wisdom. But will he pass the final test and become wise enough to save the forest? The Owl's Apprentice is an interactive show for families combining puppetry and physical comedy.

Join us for an online interactive, hands-on art and craft workshop highlighting the common and endangered native animals we find in our local Brimbank area. Workshop video will be delivered and available through the Creative Brimbank Facebook Page.

Scrunch, rip, twist, tear…. Watch your page leap to life and onto the stage. Join Little Wing Puppets for an interactive live-streamed workshop where children (ages 5-12) can create using materials you have at home, as well as participate in drama games and short performances.
She Danced and Sang Exhibition - Melanie Obst | Going Green 2020 | 3-31 July
Melanie Obst creates semi-abstracted paintings drawn from native vegetation and the Wimmera landscape. Practicing art for over two decades Mel has recently refocused her efforts onto the development of her painting oeuvre. She explores lines, colours and repeated patterns, and is inspired by the Wimmera landscape.
