Finishing on a high, the Goodwood Carnival will close out with the TAB Goodwood on Saturday May 20.
The showpiece sprint boasts a rich history dating back to 1881 with the names Cummings, Hawkes and Hayes all featuring prominently on the honour roll. The world's greatest sprinter Black Caviar delighted a record crowd with her win in 2012 and since then, it's been a period of dominance by Melbourne trainers and jockeys, save for the wins of Adelaide pin-up riders Todd Pannell and Barend Vorster.
