Did you know you can ride from Green Square into the CBD almost entirely on cycleways separate from cars, plus some quiet, traffic-calmed streets?
We'll show you a couple of ways to do it. We start with an eastern route via the Bourke St cycleway, and then return via a western route on cycleways on Kent St, Liverpool St, Castlereagh St and George St.
The ride starts at Green Square Plaza, just behind Green Square Library. Arrive at 1:15 for a 1:30pm start.
You'll need:
Your own bike and helmet
Water bottle and snacks
