As part of History Week 2024, join the City of Sydney's curator, Margaret Betteridge, for a visit to The Colonnade, the newly opened exhibition space at the rear of Sydney Town Hall. Here you'll see a small selection from the collection, including artefacts excavated from the Old Sydney Burial Ground, a matchstick model of Sydney Town Hall, and a dried fugu or Japanese pufferfish known to have one of the most deadly toxins in the world.
Don't miss this opportunity to discover the fascinating stories behind these objects, which go far beyond their appearance to reveal their deeper cultural significance.
