In partnership with The Culture Tree, the Seaport invites you to experience this colorful Hindu observance that heralds the end of winter, new love, fruitful harvest-and a symbolic victory of good over evil. Join other revelers in creating a mural using paintball guns; learn some new moves at various dance workshops; watch a puppet show that teaches kids and adults about the legends that inspired the festival; and sample the foods and sweets customary to the occasion. One of the Holi's most beloved traditions is in full effect here too-playing with colored powders. Each color has a specific meaning, like yellow denoting prosperity.
