Celebrate the arrival of spring during the festival of Holi. In partnership with The Culture Tree, the Seaport invites you to experience this colorful Hindu observance that heralds the end of winter, new love, fruitful harvest-and a symbolic victory of good over evil. Join other revelers in creating a mural using paintball guns; learn some new moves at various dance workshops; watch a puppet show that teaches kids and adults about the legends that inspired the festival; and sample the foods and sweets customary to the occasion. One of the Holi's most beloved traditions is in full effect here too-playing with colored powders. Each color has a specific meaning, like yellow denoting prosperity.
