Professional beekeeper Doug Purdie, from the Urban Beehive, will host this interactive workshop on how the plants bees feed upon influence the flavours of their honey.
The Urban Beehive harvests honey from over 20 sites around Sydney, and with this breadth of location comes a variety of subtle and significant flavour sensations.
Taste testing will be accompanied by a demonstration with fresh honeycomb to show the process of honey extraction, alongside a conversation about how and why bees produce honey.
