Indigo Nights is your dose of local indie music presented by Melbourne based national booking agency Amber Mic. This Indigo Nights show with Funk Sydney at Civic Underground on Wed May 19th features local Sydney indie bands Inner Suspects, Silvers, Biscuit & Crash and The Crapenters.

About the Artists.

Inner Suspects is a trip hop vs folk mash up, exploring psychedelic themes through visual art and music.

Silvers' (fka Hela's) sound is florid, sophisticated and visceral. Silvers demonstrates a powerful live sound with the addition of Nick Lee, a jazz drummer who provides a smooth flair and elite technicality to the hard rock aesthetic of the band, and Samuel Cordeiro, a low to the ground, hard hitting bass player that you can't take your eyes off.

Their live show is passionate and energetic, with the four taking you on an eye-widening journey from upbeat, jagged heights to the smoother banks of their most tender songs. Silvers debut single, 'Black Leather' was released November last year, to the delight of fans and critical acclaim

Biscuit are an indie rock band that make sweeping, emotional anthems. Influenced by artists such as Camp Cope, Connor Oberst, Elliot Smith and Interpol, they create dramatic soundscapes that have been engaging audiences around Sydney for the last 2 years. This year Biscuit have been writing new music, and are looking to expand their reach to the national stage.

There's old school punk, there's new school punk, and there's Crash & The Crapenters the Punk Rock poets from Sydney who released their debut album 'Set in Stone' in 2017 and dropped their sophomore self-titled album 2020.
