With a background in fashion photography, Lobaczewski channelled his creative lens into painting contemporary abstract works inspired by colour, thickness of paint and texture of stroke.
Having worked closely with Jardan on colour collaboration, Henryk has created 19 unique pieces of art that showcase his love of colour, texture and pattern including Jardan Blue (pictured above).
Characterised by bright and bold hues and an intuitive approach to his craft, much of Henryk's inspiration is drawn from the tones and colours found in the pages of fashion magazines, making him the perfect collaborator for an innovative brand like Jardan, who's design ethos is consistently ahead of the curve.
This exhibition will be available online at Jardan.com and to view in store until the 25 May.
'I'm in love with colour & texture and the whole gestural nature of freezing form. It makes me feel enlivened, and in the minute. Everything in this world is so ephemeral and it's nice to freeze that. That moment. Then be able to feel it forever on a wall' - Henryk Lobaczewski.

About henryk.studio
Henryk is a name you need to know in the art world. This self-taught artist, hailing from Sydney, is making waves with his immersive, textural works made from a blend of concrete and polymer & gels on canvas.
Henryk's art is not about perfection, but rather about capturing the essence of the creative process. His work can be described as intense and raw, with a gestural abstraction that draws the viewer in and invites them to feel something. When you pass by one of Henryk's sculptures, you can't help but have your retinas sing and your soul awaken.
Henryk's innovative approach to sculpture and his dedication to his craft have earned him a reputation as a rising star in the art world. He has been featured in solo exhibitions and group show appearances around the world, and in Sydney Australia. His work has also been displayed in the lobby of Fouquet's New York, and he now has partners and clients in Europe and the U.S, namely Tappan Collective as his US gallery partner.
