Kiwi Fest 2020 is almost upon us; we're getting very excited to share with you our plans for our inaugural festival!
Kiwi Fest is a celebration of New Zealand culture, bringing together Melbourne's Kiwi communities for a diverse festival of all things Aotearoa.
Featuring live music from Kiwi acts, cultural performances and a range of traditional and artisanal food and drink from and inspired by New Zealand's world-renowned industry; Kiwi Fest will be an all-ages cultural event paying tribute to the Land of the Long White Cloud!
Date: Saturday 15th Feb, 2020.
• Māori and Kiwi food from Hangi Boys, Armageddon BBQ + more TBA
• Craft Beer Bar from NZ's best Brewery Garage Project
• Kiwi mākete village (markets)
• Performances from Ngā Mātai Pūrua - Māori Cultural Group, VIC, Collateral Culture + more TBA
• Music from Che-Fu, Israel Starr, Iva Lamkum, DJ SPELL, The Refugees, Amin Payne + more.
• Our Location is the lush, green, 100% outdoor riverside lawn at Footscray Community Arts Centre.

Via this website, through our partners Eventbrite or at the entry to the festival (unless sold out prior). Sign up to our newsletter for ticket updates.
Can I come to the festival without a parent or guardian if I'm under 18?
Persons under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Under 18 tickets can only be purchased with an adult ticket or by an adult who already has a ticket. Under 18 attendees MUST arrive and be wristbanded with the "responsible adult" who purchased the ticket.
Is there a map and festival program?
Yes, these will be published online in the weeks prior to the festival.
Is there alcohol on site and can I bring my own?
There are bars within the main arena serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. BYO alcohol is not permitted.
What if it rains?
Rain or shine, the show will go on! Check the forecast before you head to Kiwi Fest and pack warm clothes and raincoats if you need them. It's summer, so hats and sunscreen are essential no matter the weather.
