We are pleased to announce the rescheduling of this event at a new and much more spacious restaurant - Soi 25 - and with almost the same line-up of authors and community figures. This event has been made possible due to the support of ACON and also the City of Sydney Night Time Diversification Program.
To celebrate (somewhat belatedly) the publication of the important new community history book Fighting for our Lives by Nick Cook, we are hosting this exclusive literary dinner, at popular Darlinghurst restaurant Soi 25.
In between enjoying a delicious Thai feast, journalist Nick Cook will be in conversation with 3 prominent community figures, Robert French, David Buchanan and Don Baxter, who will share their recollections of that time.
Any enquiries about the event should be directed to The Bookshop Darlinghurst (02 9331 1103) and not to the restaurant. We recommend you telephone us then everything can be discussed and arranged more simply.
Tickets are for sale on our website and very detailed information about the event is included there, including the menu.
