MAY SPACE Online is proud to present Sydney-based artist, Maggie Hensel-Brown as our Project artist for the month of September.
To coincide with her project and to celebrate Maggie's work, she will be conducting two live-streamed lace-making sessions over Instagram Live. Both events will be accessible via our Instagram page (@mayspacesyd). Tune in to watch Maggie as she works in traditional lace-making.
Her small and labour-intensive works depict scenes from her every day life, bringing a moment of reflection to the mundane. Heavily rooted in traditional lace-making techniques, Maggie will be documenting her process from beginning to end in our Project space, through video, live social media sessions and interviews.
