Art2Muse Gallery presents Skies and Scapes by Sydney-based artist Liz Cuming.
'Born of years journeying our fair land (at or beside the wheel, on and off road or water), these new works attempt homage to some of countless amazing 'eyes to the sky' moments. Hovering over vast landscapes, panoramic skies illuminate, shadow, signal time of day, and bring the weather - including glorious rain.
'Australia is awash with visual 'wow' moments, where land, sea, and sky conspire to present the big picture. Ephemera (seasonal conditions, time of day, light, and perspective) constantly orchestrate unique and amazing visual elements, in some unbelievably magnificent symphonies.
'All in all, it is a must to explore our continent, including extremely remote and sparsely populated places. Every journey, whether to new or preloved sites - outback or coastal - fires my love for our special country and rekindles the lifelong urge to paint.' - Liz Cuming, 2021
